The Adam Henein Foundation for Fine Arts is pleased to announce the “Adam Museum in a Picture” Photography Competition. 

The Adam Henein Foundation for Fine Arts invites both amateur and professional photographers - Egyptians and non-Egyptians alike - to participate in this photography competition.

The theme of the competition is photographing the Adam Henein Museum and the works of Adam Henein in Harraniya.


Contest Terms & Conditions

1.      Photography Period: The museum must be visited and photographed between November 15th and December 15th, 2025.

2.      Number of Submissions: A maximum of five (5) photographs per participant.

3.      Registration and Submission: Participants must register for the contest and upload their photographs via the online form available

4.      Technical Specifications:

o   Essential Specifications: These specifications are mandatory for all submitted photographs. Submissions not meeting these criteria may be disqualified.

§  File Format: Images must be submitted in JPG (.jpg) format.

§  Minimum Resolution: The image resolution must be a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch). This, combined with the minimum dimension, ensures sufficient detail for printing.

§  Dimensions: The larger side (longest edge) of the image must be between 25 centimeters and 50 centimeters.

§  Maximum File Size: The maximum file size for each image is 10MB.

§  Color Space: Images must be submitted in RGB color space.

§  Metadata: Participants are required to retain the original metadata embedded in their submitted image files. This includes information such as camera settings, date taken, etc.

§  File Naming: Files must be named in the following format: YourName_ImageTitle.jpg (e.g., AhmedMohamed_SculptureGarden.jpg).

§  Tools Used: Participants are allowed to use all types of cameras, lenses and lighting equipment available to them.

5.      Prizes:

o   First Prize: 20,000 Egyptian Pounds

o   Second Prize: 15,000 Egyptian Pounds

o   Third Prize: 10,000 Egyptian Pounds

6.      Usage Rights: The Adam Henin Foundation for Fine Arts has the right to use the photos that have reached the final stages in all the Foundation's media, whether electronic or printed, while preserving the moral rights of the photographer.
